It's Been a Long Time...

Hello.      Alright, I know that it has been a really long time since I wrote here, and I feel terrible about it. Let me explain. First off, school, always a bother even when on vacation. Secondly, I have been having some family issues, and while I did come here to write, I would delete what I wrote because it began to feel too personal. That it the majority of why I have been away from here, feeling horrible inside and not in the mood to share what I wrote.     I am going to try to continue writing here, but I am not going to give myself a schedule till further notice, when I have a clear idea of how my days are. At the very least, I will try to come in and write some not-that-important commentary, like this one.       On a side note, I participated NaNoWriMo, National November Writing Month. I completed my "book", and am a winner. But it was extremely hard for me to find the time to do so. Anyway, what...

Rattling on about Civil War and Movies...

Alright...I have no idea what to write because I have been busy all week. Still, because I made it a goal for me to write here at least once a week, I shall do what I do when I wish to write but have no ideas: write the first thing that comes into my mind without erasing/changing anything (even grammatical errors) and see what ends up coming out. So here it goes.      As many have already done, I have too seen Captain America: Civil War. Great movie, though not the ending I was expecting. Not to say it was bad, just that I did not think that route would be taken. (I'm currently trying not to spoil anything, though if something does come out, sorry.) Personally, I really enjoyed Spiderman's presence; it was entertaining and he had his own unique way. Plus, I liked the way he ended up getting mixed up with the events that were occurring (Tony Stark, by the way). Now, by no means was this a perfect movie (slight errors, at least in  my opinion, were pres...

Zootopia and Little Kids (Slight Spoiler)

Disney's Zootopia has been in the movie theater's for a while, and has received, overall, positive feedback. Still, when I've talked with others, the comment that keeps being brought up is the fear caused in certain scenes. I have a brother and sister, one of whom, my sister, was excited for the movie and the other, my brother, was unsure about it. We went to watch Zootopia at the movie theater its first Saturday, and I sat next to my sister, my brother at the other side. Everything went well for about the first half of the movie, but afterwards my sister was half on my lap, half on her seat, scared of what will appear on the screen. My brother, who had the rest of our family on his side, was scrunched up in his seat, head towards the side, and hands at ready to cover his ears. In the scene in which Nick seems to bite Judy, a kid from another part of the movie theater actually started screaming. Overall, not how my movie going experiences had gone before.      While...

Paper Books vs. Electronic Books

I have a teacher that says that electronic books are not books, but just like a really long text one reads on some electronic device. This caused an argument in the classroom, that got a little out of hand. Anyway, I've been thinking about such discussion for a while, and while I don't agree that e-books are not books, I do believe that there are some pros and cons for both.      EBooks are, in comparison to paper books, much easier to travel or just move around with. As a friend of mine pointed out, she could easily take E-Reader with over books, and only take up the space of about a hundred-page book. Also, there are e-novellas, or just plain e-books that only come out electronically. While there are a few that eventually come out in paperback as a collection, this happens after some time from the electronic version was published. Along with all that, some devices for electronic reading include other utilities, which can be either helpful or a distraction, dependi...

Your "Age"

There's that age that is on papers, based on how many years have passed since one was born. And on that same day, every year, it is acknowledged that you've lived another year. Then there's that age you act as. Some act older than they are, some act younger. Some feel older, some feel younger.      First off, one is limited by what's on the papers in various ways because of certain laws. To those who care about those "barriers", it becomes a big deal to them. Also, for most people, when they are asked there age, it is simple to answer with stated age.      Some consider themselves to be older than their actual age. I have a friend who says she's an "old, cranky cat lady who's trapped in a younger body." And she doesn't mean that in a bad way. The majority of people avoid her (till they get to know her) because she's cautious of others. She doesn't trust fakers, and hence, won't be too warm to them. Still, there are others wh...

Covy Randomness?

Well then, hello. I'm always bad with starting things off, and I can right off tell that this post, my first one, will be a horrible one. Still, I do hope some of you will consider reading my stuff. I guess I'll tell you a bit about myself. For one, I enjoy writing. I write on my own, for myself, and rarely share anything. I am currently trying to write what I hope to be a novel, which, at least for the time being, I shall share with no one. I really enjoy stuff like Disney Animation, Disney Pixar, DreamWorks, Blue Sky... you know, animation movies, though I do also like other types of stuff. Also, reading is a big thing for me. I will read pretty much anything and have nor particular genre of preference; anything with a story will capture my attention. I'm relatively young, though people always think I'm younger than I am. For me, talking with others is a burden, hence the writing I am currently doing now. Alright then, about this blog: For now, at least, I am wo...
