Concluding Phase 1

The first phase. The first culmination of Marvel. By the conclusion, it was clear for all, if not sooner, that the MCU was a success. In conclusion of rewatching Phase 1, I only have a few small notes.
In terms of Endgames, and the MCU in general, Avengers is a definite must, Iron Man and Captain America following behind, then Thor (for Loki!), Iron Man 2 penultimate, and The Incredible Hulk almost skippable, if not for hardcore fans.
Of course, CGI animation is not where it is now, and you can more easily see the staging in the fight scenes than now.
Now, for those of you who can't do an actual rewatch, I hope my other posts were good refreshers. If not, Youtubers have you covered:

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Let's Look into Star-Lord's Past

*Image from Wikipedia. Obviously, any fan of the original Guardians of the Galaxy film will enjoy this film. It continues with it's comedic feel, music ever present, though the plot, in my opinion, does not match its predecessor. In terms of Endgame, we are first presented to Mantis here, plus Nebula ends with plans to go after Thanos - we know from Infinity War that she fails, though. The dynamic between Yondu and Rocket was, to me, one of the more interesting aspects of the film, making Yondu's death all the more touching when Rocket, first talking of Yondu, ends up referring to the batteries he himself stole. Plus, the Mary Poppins line is just so great. Gamora starts getting a bit annoying to me in the film, as does Drax, but the ending saves them both. The reason is Gamora's unnecessary coldness towards and Darx's lines sometimes move from funny to... not pleasant and not humorous. Avengers: Endgame - What You Definitely Need to Remember (Spoiler Free)

Oh, how I cried. Never have I cried over a movie as much as I have here. Definitely an experience not just MCU fans, but people in general should have. I will not be reviewing Avengers: Endgame yet, as I will be seeing it again soon, and am still processing. Needless to say, my emotions are all in a jumble, I feel as though my heart had been pulled out of my chest and crushed before me, and my hands still hurt from all the clapping I did opening night. It goes without question that Infinity War is critical for this movie, but will repeat it just in case anyone is thinking of watching Endgame without having ever watched Infinity War. Trust me, you'll be thankful. Captain America: Civil War, because that rift between Iron Man and Cap is critical Next, rewatch, or at least keep in mind the first Avengers film, Thor: The Dark World, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
