Spider-Man: Homecoming - Tony Stark Being a Dad

*From Wikipedia.
Even non-Marvel fans know Spider-Man. Even non-superhero fans know Spider-Man. Heck, I'd be surprised to come across someone who did now have any grain of knowledge about who Spider-Man was.
As we all know, Spider-Man: Homecoming is the third version of this webbed hero to come out on the big screen, Tobey Maguire being the original Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield following with The Amazing Spider-Man, and now Tom Holland for this Sony-Marvel join-up. And, as the fandom and public in general have pointed out, Peter Parker and Aunt May keep getting younger every time.
Beyond being the first time Spider-Man is actually in the MCU, it is also the most realistic in depicting a high-school boy superhero, both in the actors appearance and his life outside of the Spider suit.
Starting with Parker's phone-filmed side of Civil War, Homecoming takes places post-Civil War, Captain America a war criminal and the Sokovia Accords being talked about in the background of one of Parker's classes (nice detail, MCU!). The funny thing is the Captain America videos are used in school despite of this, making a funny little end credit scene about patience.
But Iron Man is the real big Avenger assist, guiding Parker on his path to becoming in Avenger, which he, in the end, turns down. The thing is, after turning them down, he asks if it was a test, the MCU making sure that you understand just how much Parker wants to be an Avenger, checking back with Stark. He is an admirable character, fit to take Cap's place is Cap does die in Endgame - which I'm like 80% sure will happen.
Zendaya's character shows a nice balance between going by what you believe without biting back at others. Their teacher exemplified the understanding teachers in general should have for their students views, and those scenes alone should be shown to everyone, seen in how societal issues are ever present today.
And Vulture. A great villain, all this staring back in the first Avengers film, showing just how all the films are tied up, even beyond the facts you know. As with Civil War, accountability really matters, not just the fight itself.
Ned and Aunt May have great interactions with Parker, showing that yes, Peter Parker is still a kid with a life ahead of him. And Ned is such a fanboy, acting the way anyone in the fandom would if they found out their best friend was a superhero.
Full honesty, you don't necessarily have to watch this for Endgame, but why would you skip out! As we all know, Stan Lee has passed away, and Marvel comics, the source for the MCU, all started with Spider-Man. Sadly, with Endgame approaching, we may no longer see Stan Lee cameos in the MCU. So watch this, if not for the MCU, for Stan Lee, the man who created these characters we all continue to love after his death.
