The Incredible Hulk - Is it worth a rewatch?

Is it worth a rewatch? I know for some, it isn't even worth a watch, and I get it; Mark Ruffalo isn't Bruce Banner here, the Hulk looks completely different, and, despite coming after Iron Man, the story isn't that engaging. I remember an Instagram feed of Red Queen author Victoria Aveyard in which she gave a short phrase about each Marvel movie, stating to skip The Incredible Hulk.

And I have to say, it wasn't that engaging. Watching as I ate lunch, I played on my phone afterwards as the movie progressed, even the action scenes failing to fully engage me. Learning Portuguese, I was slightly happy to know be able to understand what is being said in the beginning while in Brazil, without needing to look at the subtitles, but beyond that, there was no great rewatchability for this film.
For those of you who haven't seen it, here's my advice: hardcore Marvelites, watch it. Be the show off that points out that there actually is an Incredible Hulk movie. If you are not a hardcore MCU fan, skip it. Maybe google the credit scene just to see the short Tony Stark cameo, but Stark is taking Fury's role here; in Iron Man, Fury presented the Avenger's Initiative to Stark; here, Stark does so, but not even to Banner!
I watched this movie for the first time after the first Avengers, and I believe Avengers works as a better entrance for Hulk than this piece does. First of, starting the Hulk story line there means no actor switch, all Mark Ruffalo pureness. Second, it doesn't add much, if anything, to the greater MCU, except, that there are more superheroes and Stark isn't the only smart one.
So yeah, skip right over this movie to Iron Man 2 on your rewatch journey, or if you are trying to get through all of the MCU for the first time before Endgame comes out. You aren't missing much. And that's coming from a hardcore Marvel fan that still had to rewatch said movie anyway. It's a fine background movie, but not one if you really want to get immersed into the MCU.
